Jackwolf Supports Dudley Schools Through Sports Day Social Value Initiative
Completing successful projects is always rewarding, but creating a lasting impact within the communities we serve makes those achievements even more meaningful.
Following the successful completion of works at Belle Vue Primary School, Ashwood Park Primary School, and Cotwall End Primary School, Jackwolf is proud to have further strengthened its relationship with Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council through a shared commitment to supporting local schools and delivering meaningful social value.
Throughout these projects, Jackwolf and Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council have developed a strong working partnership built on collaboration, trust, and a shared vision of creating positive outcomes for education and the wider community. This relationship extends beyond the delivery of construction projects, demonstrating how effective partnerships can create lasting benefits for the people who use these facilities every day.
As part of Jackwolf's commitment to social value, the company donated £250 to each school to support their annual Sports Day events, helping to create memorable experiences for more than 900 pupils across the three schools.
Each school chose to use the funding in a way that best suited its pupils and celebrations.
Belle Vue Primary School used the donation to hire an inflatable assault course and purchase new equipment for its obstacle race. More than 300 pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 took part in an exciting day of physical activity and friendly competition.
At Ashwood Park Primary School, the funding was invested in new athletics equipment, as well as stickers and certificates to recognise every child who participated. More than 300 pupils, from Nursery through to Year 6, benefited from the initiative, with the new equipment continuing to support PE lessons and future sporting events long after Sports Day.
Meanwhile, Cotwall End Primary School hosted a vibrant World Cup-themed Sports Day, using the donation to purchase the flags of 48 nations, international bunting, arena fencing stakes, and footballs for the races. The event celebrated teamwork, inclusion, and participation while creating a memorable experience for pupils.
These initiatives demonstrate how even modest investments can have a meaningful impact when directed towards local communities. By supporting schools in delivering engaging and inclusive sporting events, Jackwolf has helped create opportunities for hundreds of children to enjoy physical activity, celebrate achievement, and make lasting memories.
