PROJECT OVERVIEW

Jackwolf Group was awarded the MEP contract to replace boilers across 10Nr plant rooms around the Category B Prison.

Our remit was to replace the boilers while maintaining heating and hot water at all times within a live prison environment.  

CONTRACT VALUE: £500k

JACKWOLF'S SOLUTION

The project aimed to replace existing boilers that were end of life whilst maintaining services to the facility throughout the heating season. 

Jackwolf Group created and designed a bespoke pipework header system which allowed :

  • New boilers
  • New flues 
  • New pumps
  • New gas valves 
  • BMS modifications

PROJECT DELIVERY

Jackwolf Group were initially awarded 5Nr plant rooms and as a result of their successful performance, negotiated another 5Nr plant rooms split across 3 years. 

All works were handed back successfully in time for the facility to be handed back to HMPS from the PFI contract.
