PROJECT OVERVIEW

Jackwolf Group was awarded the MEP refurbishment contract for Parkfield School in Wolverhampton.

Parkfield School specialises in supporting students with behavioural issues and features a dedicated Nightingale facility catering to students with mental health challenges, particularly those struggling with self-image issues that impede their ability to attend school regularly.

CONTRACT VALUE: £670K

JACKWOLF'S SOLUTION

The project aimed to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for students.

This involved modernising classrooms and corridors, along with constructing additional rooms to enhance the facilities available to staff in their support of the students. The MEP works undertaken included:

Installation of new suspended ceilings
Upgraded lighting systems
Enhanced small power infrastructure
Hard-wired fire alarm systems
Modification of the intruder alarm system to integrate with the new building layout
New Low Temperature Hot Water and Domestic Water Services throughout
New plant room consisting of three 285kw boilers and two calorifiers and BMS
