PROJECT OVERVIEW

The works are to an occupied and operating young person’s mental health facility. The facility based in Moseley in South Birmingham provides care for young people with mental heath issues such as bulimia and self-harming; the existing residential areas were dormitory style and insufficient size.

The works comprised:

• Three new extensions to provide additional bedrooms, communal area and link.

• Refurbishment of existing building.

• All anti-ligature fixtures and fittings

• Heat recovery ventilation

• Air conditioning

• Radiant panel heating

• Nurse call

• CCTV

• Access control

CONTRACT VALUE: £4.8m
