PROJECT OVERVIEW

This case study illustrates our capabilities to undertake refurbishment in the higher education sector in a defined time scale and complete within minimal issues, ensuring occupation to meet client dates. This illustrates our capacity for Fire Protection and multidisciplinary works.

The refurbishment was to four blocks of student accommodation, undertaking refurbishment including fire doors, fire protection and associated works. During the early stage of the scheme, the client was so impressed with the performance output, they negotiated a further five blocks of similar works. This enabled the client to complete all accommodation blocks within the University Campus.

CONTRACT VALUE: £740k

JACKWOLF'S SOLUTION

A key deliverable for this scheme was the quick turnaround for the manufacture and delivery of the doors and frames. As this was undertaken during post covid industry shortages, we secured provision a delivery into the schedule.

PROJECT DELIVERY

Overall 630 fire doors were replaced. We removed the doors and frames , then installed new doors and frames and new locks. In addition, we undertook other refurbishment works including redecorations, making good areas and upgrading to bedrooms and common rooms.
