Herefordshire Council has appointed Jackwolf Group to deliver distribution pump upgrades at Weobley Primary School near Hereford, marking a return to a valued local authority client.
Jackwolf Group has been appointed by Herefordshire Council to carry out distribution pump upgrades at Weobley Primary School, Herefordshire.
The works involve the installation of new distribution pumps and associated pipework serving the school's existing heating system. As principal contractor, Jackwolf Group will manage the works from mobilisation through to practical completion and handover.
Delivery is programmed for the summer holidays. Works are due to start on site late July 2026, running to an anticipated two-week programme so that the upgrade is completed while the school is closed and the heating system is ready for the new term.
A continuing relationship with Herefordshire Council
The appointment marks a return to Herefordshire Council, for whom Jackwolf Group has previously delivered works at St Martins Primary School. Being invited back to deliver a further scheme reflects the standard of the earlier project and the working relationship built with the Council.
Six Property Consulting continues to deliver project management services for Herefordshire Council's capital maintenance programme, of which this project forms part. Having successfully project managed Phase 1 last year, the installation of a new biomass boiler. They are now managing Phase 2: the installation of new circulation and distribution pumps to complement the boiler and further future-proof the school.
Working with local authorities
